Our mission is to empower the busiest of people to eat well! We do the hard work of sourcing and grinding spices so you can have your meal in 15 minutes!
Our products are shockingly delicious. We take no shortcuts in staying true to the authentic family recipes inherited from our founder’s Malaysian grandmother, Nonie.
We’re full of flavor, but without the bad stuff. We use the same wholesome ingredients as Granny Nonie would have used! Non-GMO & Gluten Free always.
We use age-old, traditional spices like Grandma Nonie would have used.
Only mildly spicy, but you’ll feel a bit of heat if you don’t generally eat spicy food. If you’re a spice veteran, feel free to add your own chillies.
Our rendang and red curry spice kits are vegan. Our laksa is pescatarian. All our products are gluten-free, dairy-free, grain-free, soy-free, peanut-free, keto and non-GMO. We do not use coloring and preservatives, and use unrefined coconut sugar. We also source naturally non-GMO high oleic sunflower oil, avoiding more common but unhealthy oils like palm oil.
Unopened product can be safely stored at room/ ambient temperatures. Once opened, they should be refrigerated in an airtight container and consumed in about 1 month.
Literally anything. The recipes behind each packet recommend a range of options including chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu, seitan, carrots and potatoes. But our customers have been very creative with our spice kits. Feel free to check out our recipe page for ideas. You do you!
The spice kit are essentially a paste that need to be stretched with a liquid. We recommend coconut milk, a staple Southeast Asian cooking ingredient, but stock, cream or plain water can be used as substitutes. Our coconut milk bundle comes with 6 individual cartons to go with the kits you’ll receive.
